Terry is the owner and Manager of Ararat Auto & Ag Services, also known as Ararat Automotive Services. Terry is a fully qualified mechanic, with years of experience repairing and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, machinery and other mechanical equipment. Terry is:

• Fully qualified with AFSACS as an automotive gas installer
• A qualified roadworthy tester for light and heavy vehicles
• A member of the VACC having received a 25-year award for the business.
• Was previously Ararat Mid City Service Centre in Barkly St, Ararat.

Terry has been converting cars to gas for over 25 years. Widely experienced in all forms of mechanics and repair work from cars and trucks to tractors, forklifts and trailers.

In recent years Terry has gradually acquired a fleet of Deutz Fahr tractors which the company uses in the contracting side of the business. After years of driving and maintaining Deutz tractors it was natural step for Terry to expand into the sales of these high-quality machines. Terry is happy to discuss Deutz tractors with you.

Kerry Hammond is joint owner of the business. Kerry works hard behind the scenes to make sure all of our operations run smoothly and also plays a key role in our Ag sales department.

Kerry comes from a local farming background, with a particular interest in the horse scene. The well-known and very successful Avondale Arabians was her family's horse stud, located just half an hour out of Ararat. She also has a keen interest in photography, which is a now a hobby, and has also worked as a semi-professional photographer. At Edenhope College where she was employed, she taught photography for several years taking her students to first place in several Horsham Regional Art Gallery photographic exhibitions.

With an art and design background Kerry enjoys the responsibility of the advertising and online marketing for the business.

Kerry spent many years as a teacher prior to working full time in the business. She spends many hours working behind the scenes on the management of the business and developing new opportunities.
